Si Nakharin National Park is one of the many popular national parks in Kanchanaburi Province. It offers varying landscapes and stunning vistas as well as great trekking, swimming, rafting, and caving.
The park encompasses the expansive Si Nakharin Dam, a hydroelectric plant located on the Khwai Yai Waterfall, and features waterfalls, limestone cliffs, caves, and hot springs. Si Nakharin National Park is covered by deciduous evergreen forests and is home to leopards, squirrels, bats and a huge range of bird species.
Major highlights of Si Nakharin National Park are Huai Mae Kamin Waterfall (one of the Thailand’s prettiest), Pha Tat Waterfall, Phra Cave with its 18th century Buddha images, Neramit Cave and nearby Erawan National Park. There is also accommodation in the park in the form of bungalows and small terrace houses.
