This quaint coastal town is located between Quang Ngai and Qui Nhon and due to its excellent location on the main Highway 1A, it is an excellent escape for a few days.

There are a handful of restaurants to choose from with some catering to the western pallet. Food vending carts adorn the main road that is often busy with local buses stopping to refill and offload passengers. Many people only stop here briefly before moving on. It is a good place to relax and regain your strength.

The curved beach of Sa Huynh is backed by rice paddies and palm trees and makes for the perfect place to relax and unwind from the hectic traveling. Unfortunately, the lack of accommodation pushes people to move onto their next stop before they really get a chance to explore.

Getting There & Away

You can catch local buses from here going both south and north on Highway 1A. There is a train station in Sa Huynh but the only trains that run from here are slow. Phu-Cat airport is only 40 miles to the south and operates flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. Danang International Airport is 130 miles to the north and will fly you to a wide choice of Asian destinations.
