Quy Nhon is pretty port area in Vietnam which is sheltered and a great place to explore. Centuries ago, it was fought over firstly by the Chinese and then later on by the French and Americans.
Quy Nhon’s main beach extends from the port and down to the south as far as the steep hills. It is a mixed beach as some parts are far more superior to others. The north side is used as a boat park for small local fishing boats. Further down to the south some of the beaches have cover charges but the beaches are much better looked after and more peaceful than Quy Nhon.
Quy Nhon is attracting more and more development and is once again becoming a busy hub of activity. Tourist numbers are growing and this once quiet fishing port is slowly turning into a busy tourist resort.
