Centrally located 80 miles from Bangkok, the province of Nakhon Nayok has a long established reputation as a daytrip destination. Known for its natural beauty and historical attractions, it possesses some of the most spectacular parks and waterfalls in the kingdom. Sarika waterfall, nine miles east of the provincial capital, is an enormous waterfall spilling over a nine story cliff into a rainy-season reservoir. Nang Rong, in Hin Tang district, is another popular waterfall consisting of several levels, each with its own basin suitable for swimming.
