My Khe beach boasts white sands and crystal clear waters which extend for miles. It is estranged from the mainland by a body of water ensuring complete seclusion.

With its remote location, My Khe Beach is lacking in development; which is great for people who want to get away from things but it is not ideal if you are looking for a selection of accommodation, a vast array of restaurants or unlimited activities.

Concealed at the north end of the beach is the local commune where you will find restaurants lined along the back of the beach and a few basic houses for rent. Tourist numbers are still relatively low here but if they continue to grow, this idyllic beach will become a tourist hot spot and may get over run with resorts and tourists.

Getting There & Away

The best way to get to the beach itself is by local taxi or motorcycle. The Reunification Express Train, which serves the entire country, stops here although journeys are often long and arduous. From Hanoi, the train journey to Quang Ngai is 650 miles and will take 14 hours on a train. There is a bus station and buses go between all major destinations on Highway 1a. Da Nang has the nearest international airport that deals with many Asian destinations and is 80 miles away.
