For a glimpse of the fascinating history of industrialization in New England, visit the Lowell National Historical Park. Apart from the park, Lowell also features the 3,200-seat Lowell Auditorium and Merrimack Repertory Theatre where the best performances in Lowell are on show. The glittering Merrimack River also adds a unique bit of character to the city.
Served by a number of major American airlines, Boston’s Logan International Airport is the main air hub in Massachusetts. Lowell and Cape Cod also have their own regional airports. Amtrak trains connect all the major cities together.
