Manamoc Island is located in the Sulu Sea and is part of the Cuyo archipelago. Not many people visit this small community of fishermen, which adds to its charm.
It is a remote island with a developing tourist infrastructure and despite being difficult to get to, it is popular with tourists from all over the world who hope to get away from it all. With the exception of its stunning beaches, there is not much to see here, however.
If you want to experience the local fishing community, Manamoc is a great place to visit and the locals will make you feel incredibly welcome. There are bars and restaurants catering to local tastes and a small cluster of accommodation. Those who stay here are generally people who like to get off the beaten track and spend time with local people.
