Located in the heart of Kentucky, this city is both the largest in the state and the state’s most popular draw for tourists thanks to the Kentucky Derby horse races. The nightlife is accentuated with bluegrass music and an abundance of bars, thus making Louisville one of America’s hotspots for entertainment.

A trip to Kentucky is not complete without at least placing one bet at the Churchill Downs track. Getting tickets to the annual Kentucky Derby may require an act of God, but the experience of being at one of the America’s landmarks is priceless. Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park: ride one the of world’s largest roller coasters or go for a quick drop from a steep water slide. There are plenty of rides and activities to keep everyone excited.

Louisville Slugger Museum: get up to bat as you tour this museum dedicated to America’s baseball legend, Babe Ruth. Learn about the history of baseball and see how baseball bats are made in the factory.

Daniel Boone National Forest: climb steep, rugged cliffs or enjoy the bike and hiking trails through lush landscapes and unspoiled lakes of this enormous and magnificent national landmark in the Appalachian Mountains. It’s definitely worth the road trip.
