Khanh Hoa on the south central coast of Vietnam is home to Cam Ranh bay port, the country’s primary submarine base. Nha Trang, the bustling provincial capital, is located in the south, about 450kms (280 miles) north of Ho Chi Minh City. The city is home to the magnificent Nha Trang bay, known to be one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

Diving is popular in the province as it has an amazing underwater world. Snorkeling, cruising and swimming are also available. Aside from beaches and water sports, the Ba Ho waterfalls, the Cham tower, the Long Son pagoda and the province’s famous mineral mud baths are popular attractions.

Khanh Hoa’s infrastructure is excellent, with a number of accommodations and facilities for tourists. Nha Trang has a thriving nightlife, drawing night owls to its clubs, pubs and bars from across the country. Access is via bus from Ho Chi Minh City to the south.
