Icadambanuan Island is a tiny island located close to Flower Island, just off the northern Palawan coast. It does not offer much in the way of infrastructure, but its raw natural beauty makes it popular.
The beaches are untouched and beautiful and the inland jungle areas are ideal for nature lovers. However, there is not much to do here. With the exception of lying on the beach (where there are no facilities) or touring the inner jungle areas, most visitors will be stuck for activities.
Just off the coast lie some beautiful coral and an abundance of fish. Many popular dive sites are located here, but they can only be reached by organized diving tours. Snorkeling is possible just off the coast, but it is no better than off the coast of some of the more developed islands in the region and there is no equipment available on the island.
There is no accommodation on the island and other amenities are very limited. Most people arrive here on a daytrip which includes lunch; however, you should bring your own refreshments just in case.
Getting There & Away
Taytay is the closest town and is also home to the nearest domestic airport which receives daily flights from Manila (1 hour). Once here, it is just a short boat ride to Icadambanuan Island.
