Hon Mun is a small island off the coast of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province; a marine protected area which is celebrated by divers for its abundance of corals.

The island gets its name from the high cliffs in the south of the island where there are numerous caves and grottoes. These caves are home to many migrating bird species where they build their nests, making it popular with ornithologists.

The positioning of Hon Mun in the path of warm ocean currents from the south makes it eternally popular with divers due to the corals and sea creatures that hang here as a result. Visitors can join a diving tour or try a tour in a glass-bottomed boat. Researchers and oceanographers share the region with tourists.

As a protected area, there is little tourist infrastructure, apart from a small area in the northwest of the island. Many people visit Hon Mun on a daytrip.
