Cullion Town is the main town on Culion Island and is home to most of the island’s cultural attractions. It does not boast a developed tourist infrastructure, but what it does feature is stunning natural beauty.
The town houses a museum, an old church and fort, and even remnants of an old leper colony. The history of the town dates back centuries and many buildings within the town are testament to this.
While there are not many sights to see in Cullion Town, part of the attraction of the town is the warm welcome granted by the locals. Out of the main town, visitors will find rolling hills and steep cliffs.
Getting There & Away
The island of Culion has its own airport, although flights are only available from nearby Busuanga. If you don’t fly here, the only other way to reach Culion is to take a ferry. Ferries leave once a week from Manila and take 12 hours.
