Coco Loco Island is a small islet just off the coast of Roxas, Palawan. It only has one resort on it, which owns most of the island. If you have the money, a stay here will make your trip.

The island itself does not boast an abundance of sightseeing opportunities although it is a perfect example of an idyllic tropical island. The white sandy beaches outline tertiary jungle, which can be found at the island’s core.

These forests are home to an abundance of wildlife and options for exploring are endless. There are hiking trails to follow and a guide can be hired for the day, or if you are feeling particularly adventurous you could make it on your own.

For those who prefer water sports, windsurfing, jet-skiing, body boarding and kayaking are just a few of the choices available. Game fishing is available by chartering a fishing boat and crew and making your way out to sea. Scuba diving is popular here but snorkeling is just as exciting.

Getting There & Away

Roxas is the closest town, just 45 minutes away by boat, and home to the nearest airport. Flights from Manila arrive in Roxas on a daily basis (1 hour) and after a short ride to the pier, you can catch a boat across the water to Coco Loco.
