Located in the country’s south central coast region, Binh Dinh boasts a fascinating diversity of terrains that differ from region to region: highlands, hills, plains and coast. Qui Nhon, the capital city of Binh Dinh, receives several travelers who wish to explore the less-traveled path of Vietnam.
Dominating the provincial city are a host of Cham towers and monuments which can be found almost everywhere in the area. The Thap Doi Cham towers, fine examples of Cham craftsmanship, are about two kilometers (1.2 miles) from the city center while the four towers of the Bahn are located up on the hill. Farther away are the remarkable three Thap Nga Ivory Cham towers, the best preserved Cham tower complexes in the country.
If you are done with tower visiting, head to the impressive Long Khanh pagoda or the Quang Trung Museum, memorializing the life of Nguyen Hue, a national hero. Qui Njon’s beach is small but usually empty, offering absolute serenity. Binh Dinh has an international hotel and direct links with Danang and Ho Chi Mihn City offer easy access to the city.
