Situated in Vietnam’s northeast, the mountainous province of Bac Kan generates a certain number of tourists thanks to its natural beauty sites. Its major attractions are the three Ba Be lakes set in a national park in the center of a huge limestone mountain range. This area contains the breathtaking Dau Dang falls as well as the 30-meter high Puong cave.

Bac Kan’s topography is rather complex, so transportation is restricted. Located 160kms (100 miles) from Hanoi, Bac Kan town lies on the inter-provincial 3 road.
