Yabuli Ski Resort is China’s biggest and best ski resort. It is located right up in the northeast of the country in Heilongjiang Province and comes with good quality snow and a long ski season.
Yabuli Ski Resort’s exact location is in the south of Heilongjiang Province, accessed through Harbin city 200kms to the west. There are many slopes at Yabuli Ski Resort of varying levels of difficulty, from beginner in the leisure section, up to professional level in the competitive section.
The competitive section lies at altitudes of over 1,300m, meaning good snow quality and a ski season lasting almost six months. The leisure section goes up to 1,000m.
While not on par with the best American, European, and Japanese ski resorts, Yabuli Ski Resort is definitely worth going to and has decent prices and facilities to boot. Off-slope action includes mini-golf, tennis, and balloon rides, and the après-ski is also fun.
