White Beach is the kind of tourist attraction that ends up dominating more of your time than you intended. There’s so much to do here, whether it’s stretching out on a beach chair with a fruit cocktail or skimming across the water on a jet-ski. Kite boarding, windsurfing, scuba diving and boating are also well catered for.
D Mall is the dominant shopping center on White Beach, spanning department stores, designer boutiques and open-air merchant stalls. Visitors can indulge in a massage or spa treatment in the afternoon before heading out for a high-octane night of dancing and partying.
Getting There & Away
White Beach is the gateway to Boracay, and boats regularly dock at all three of its boat stations. Rough seas and possible typhoons cut back on traffic from June to November as boats stick to Bulabog on the east coast. Pump boats connect to Caticlan (15 minutes), where there’s an air strip with service to Manila (40 minutes). Manila is home to the largest international airport in the Philippines.
