Walt Disney World Resort Travel Guide

Located just outside Orlando, Florida, Walt Disney World, or Disney World, is the world’s largest theme park resort consisting of four separate theme parks, two water parks and bags of other entertainment options for the whole family.

Although tickets can be pricey, there are options for buying separate ones for different parts of the park, or you can opt for a complete package including hotel resort and all the trimmings.

The four main parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom - offer something for everyone, but even if you get bored of these areas there is also a sports complex, an auto race track and endless shopping and dining options at Downtown Disney. The resort is open year-round, but make a note of the hurricane season if you want to see Mickey looking his finest.
