Situated around four kilometers north of Phang-Nga town, Sa Nang Manora Forest Park is a quaint and picturesque woodland area slightly inland of the Andaman coast.

It is based in the area of Tambon Nop Pring in Phang-Nga Province and is very popular with eco-tourists. While many tourists tend to stick to the beaches of southwest Thailand, Sa Nang Manora makes a pleasant change and interesting detour if you have time on your hands.

The park is home to a stunning multi-tiered waterfall which has rock pools for swimming at various points and there is a two kilometer hiking trail which winds through the park.

Sa Nang Manora was established as a park by Thailand’s Royal Forest Department in 1980 and is perennially popular with picnickers. While not necessarily on the main tourist routes, Sa Nang Manora remains a charming example of Thailand’s unspoiled rainforests.
