With a long stretch of soft white sand, it is easy to see why people visit Punta Ballo. Perhaps the question should be; why do they ever leave?
There is some colorful coral to be seen in the waters just off the shore which can be explored with diving or snorkeling. There are also many water sports to enjoy such as jet-skiing or water skiing.
However, many others are content simply to lie back on the sand and soak up the sun for a few hours, listening to the rustle of the wind in the palm trees. With sellers more than happy to bring anything you need right to you, there is little need to stir.
There are plenty of places to stay in this area, ranging from luxurious shore side accommodation with ocean view balconies to more modest accommodation for budget travelers. There are a number of pretty places to explore nearby such as Campomanes Bay, which is just a 10-minute jeepney ride away.
