Pulau Siladen (Siladen Island) is a small island within the beautiful Bunaken Marine Park. It has a lush tropical setting with plenty of resorts and beaches and access to amazing dive sites.
Pulau Siladen is three kilometers to the east of the main Bunaken Island and is accessible via Pulau Bunaken or direct from Manado via resort boats. Kicking back and snorkeling and diving are the main focus of a visit to Pulau Siladen. It is somewhat more laidback than Pulau Bunaken.
Bunaken National Marine Park is known to have some of the best diving reefs in the world, with steep drop-offs and underwater caves galore where all sorts of coral and exotic fish reside. All resorts on Pulau Siladen are well set up for diving, with many dive centers and full facilities.
Apart from the amazing diving and snorkeling, you can also go trekking and rafting on Pulau Siladen.
Getting There & Away
Most people arrive via Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado, which receives flights from Jakarta (3 hours) and Bali (2 hours), as well as from many other places in Southeast Asia. If you have a resort booked on Pulau Siladen they may offer an airport pick-up, a 1-hour boat journey from the port in Manado. Public ferries also run from the airport.
