Between the Naresuan and Ekathotsarot Bridges over the Nan River, along the east bank, there is a narrow but attractive riverside park, which becomes packed each evening with locals jogging along the riverside path or bouncing around in a communal aerobics work-out.

The street along here has been re-named ‘Healthy Street’, and it’s easy to see why.

You’ll feel out of place if you turn up here after 5pm wearing anything but shorts and trainers, as everybody seems to be doing something good for their body. About half-way down the park is an attractive traditional house divided into three sections and surrounded by a pond, containing a cafe and a tourist information office.
