Nestled on the Bukit Peninsula in southeastern Bali is the resort town of Nusa Dua, famous for its impressive hotels, white-sand beached and turquoise shoreline. There are many attractions around the town but none so popular as the enchanting Pasifica Museum.

This small but pleasant and inviting building houses an eclectic mixture of interesting artifacts. The museum is a collection of rooms that tell stories of the country’s history as you travel from room to room. There are more than 600 pieces of art originating from 20 different countries around the world. The main gallery boasts mainly local Indonesian artists while the other rooms take a look at a foreign artists’ perspective on Bali and its culture.

As the journey continues through the galleries it is noted that the style of the artists changes to a more western feel. Toward the end of the tour visitors are greeted with a collection of ancient tribal artifacts and pictorials telling a story of how life was originally lived in Bali. The museum is a place to keep all that enter here informed about Bali and its interesting past.

Nusa Dua is one of the more popular places to visit in Bali along with Kuta Beach for foreign tourists. There are plenty of transport options between the two cities including public buses, taxis, motorbikes and private hire cars. It is about a 30-mile journey from Kuta to here but during rush hour the traveling time increases dramatically from 45 minutes to anything in excess of 90 minutes
