Also known as Sugar Loaf Island, Pan de Azucar is located just off the coast from the large and vibrant city of Iloilo, which is the gateway to many parts of the Philippines.

Just a short pump boat ride away, many people visit Pan De Azucar Island on a daytrip from Iloilo. However, there is plenty to do for those who decide to spend a few days here. Pan de Azucar is the largest of the 16 Concepcion islands, and is popular with visitors to the area.

There are a number of beautiful beaches here, where sunbathing and water sports are popular, while others prefer to go hiking up hills and mountains to take in the stunning panoramic views. No matter what they do during the day, almost everyone gathers on the beach in the evening to watch the colorful sunset.

Getting There & Away

Access is from Iloilo, which has its own airport with regular flights from Manila (1 hour) and Cebu (30 minutes). There are bus connections to Iloilo from local cities such as Caticlan (6 hours), Kalibo (4 hours) and Roxas]] (3 hours). Pan de Azucar Island is a 30-minute pump boat ride from Iloilo’s port.
