Situated on the beautiful island of Bali, Padangbai is a picturesque traditional fishing village, surrounded by natural beauty.

Although visitors to Padangbai won’t find many vibrant beach bars or evening entertainment, this is a great place to simply relax for a while. It is possible to walk from one end of the village to the other in about 10 minutes, and the mighty Mount Agung makes a dramatic backdrop.

One of the advantages of traveling to Padangbai is that ferries regularly call in at the village’s large port, making it easy to get to some of the surrounding beauty spots such as the many sun-kissed beaches on the island of Lombok. Take the time to explore Padangbai and soak up the tranquil atmosphere before heading off to explore Lombok or Bali.

Pandangbai is located less than an hour by bus from the large Ngurah Rai International Airport situated just outside the city of Denpasar. Buses regularly run to Padangpai from Denpasar as well as from other towns and cities nearby. There is also a ferry service from Pandangbai from Lembar (4 hours).
