Nusa Dua is an area in Bali that is famous for its top class resorts and luxury accommodation that dominates a pretty beach on the eastern side of the island.

Nusa Dua covers a large area that runs the entire length of a peninsula and is a popular place to stay if you are looking for luxurious hotels and surroundings. There are many things to do in Nusa Dua, including snorkeling, swimming, parasailing and jet-skiing.

There are a host of tasty beach side restaurants to enjoy local fresh seafood in and there is little nightlife in Nusa Dua so make use of the peace and quiet and relax on the beach with a cold beer.

There are some wonderful spas to try out and they offer every type of treatment you can imagine, from facials and manicures to saunas and steam rooms. Balinese massage is particularly good in the top hotels in Nusa Dua and beach weddings are often set in the bay.

  • Dreamland Beach: a surfer’s beach located in the Nusa Dua region.
  • Pasifika Museum: A diverse art museum showcasing an impressive collection of works from across the Asia-Pacific, highlighting Bali’s cultural connections with the wider region.

Bali is a 1 hour, 20 minute flight from the capital city of Jakarta, the main gateway into Indonesia. The airport in Bali also accepts international flights but is half the size of the one in Jakarta. Nusa Dua is then a 1-hour drive from the airport, which is located in Denpasar, the capital of Bali.
