The little known about small province of Siquijor is mostly untouched by inquisitive tourists and the town of Lazi is shrouded with a mystical feel that stems from its magic-orientated roots.
Lazi is expanding in a bid to entice more tourists to the area, as is the island as a whole, and the simplicity of life in the town is one of its main attractions. There is nothing rushed about a visit to Lazi and there is little else to do other than enjoy the serenity.
The main sightseeing opportunity lies in the town’s history in the Saint Isodore Labradore Parish Church and Convent. The religious building has been around as long as the country itself and is one of the largest in the Philippines.
Getting There & Away
