Koh Rong Saloem, a 2½-hour boat ride from Sihanoukville, is like the little sister of neighboring Koh Rung.
Its nearly as far a boat trip, but doesn’t have a number of beaches in relatively easy walking distance of each other as Koh Rung does. The fishing village on the northern coast of Koh Rong Saloem is located within a bay that has been established as a marine conservation area. eco-sea dive shop has accommodation for divers in the village.
For visitors looking to relax on an idyllic beach that is one of the few in the archipelago that benefits from a western, sunset facing is orientation, Lazy Beach, home of the Lazy Beach Resort is the one and only (excellent) option.
