Kamphaeng Phet Regional Museum is next door to the National Museum, and while there’s not much of interest on display beyond some diaramas of bygone battles, the building in which it is housed is a delightful example of traditional Thai architecture, with three salas facing on to a large tiled terrace. It’s worth the 10B entrance fee just to walk around the place barefoot.

The museum is conveniently located near Kamphaeng Phet Historic Park, making it an ideal stop for those exploring the historical sites of the area. It is situated on Pindamri Road, in the heart of Kamphaeng Phet town.

You can walk there from anywhere in the town center.
