Jagna is a small port town on the southeast of Bohol Island in the celebrated Visayas. It is a pretty cool destination in the Philippines, with its bustling market, striking coastline and nearby waterfalls.
Jagna has a market day everyday of the week with all sorts of local products available. The town is lots of fun to walk around and easy on the eye. The church is a bit of an attraction with its ceiling frescoes and resident bats and there are many hotels, restaurants and shops for a longer stay.
Divers and snorkelers come to Jagna to swim out onto the protected double reef from the beach to see an array of coral and fish. The top dive spots in Jagna are Nausok Point, Pangdan, Canupao Point, and Cantagay Point. Canuba Beach is the top beach for sunbathing in Jagna, while the beautiful Kinahugan Falls are also a nice treat.
