Isabela is the capital of Basilan Island in the Philippines. Although often overlooked, the area is surrounded by natural beauty and a good place to spend a little time.
This beautiful city is located near a number of white sand beaches, which are perfect for sunbathing or swimming on the crystal clear water. A number of interesting festivals are celebrated in Isabela and it is a good idea to time your trip to catch one of them such as Araw ng Basilan in early March.
