Hat Phra Nang, or Hat Tham Phra Nang, is one of the most remote tourist beaches in Krabi. It lies beyond Railay Beach, has stunning sands and water, and is only accessible by boat.
Hat Phra Nang is a remarkably beautiful beach and is well worth the extra hassle to get here. The beach itself features fine-grain white sand and jagged karsts jutting out of the water to create a perfect picture card scene. Hat Phra Nang is only really a daytrip destination, however, due to limited accommodation.
Apart from the allure of the beach at Hat Phra Nang, there are a couple of worthwhile nearby attractions, including the Inner and Outer Phra Nang Caves and Phra Nang Lagoon. You can also enjoy a number of activities in and around Hat Phra Nang, such as rock climbing, hiking, snorkeling and diving.
Getting There & Away
Hat Phra Nang is accessible by boat only, with vessels coming in from both Ao Nang, the main beach in Krabi, and Krabi Town. Journey times are 15 and 30 minutes respectively. Krabi Airport is a 1-hour, 30-minute flight from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
