Hat Nai Thon (Nai Thon Beach) is twinned with Nai Yang Beach, just to the south of Phuket Airport in the north of the holiday island. It is a quiet, laid-back alternative to Phuket’s more hedonistic beaches.
Hat Nai Thon can be found sat at the bottom of a line of hills and boasts a nice strip of sand and a quiet bay that is ideal for swimming. There are just a couple of resorts at Hat Nai Thon, which makes it all the more special for those who are staying here. If you are into any sort of nightlife, however, head south.
Nearby Sirinat National Park is one of the highlights of staying near to Hat Nai Thon. This beautiful park stretches from nearby Nai Yang Beach all the way to the north of the island and features an abundance of marine life and coral reef. Particularly noted are the resident sea turtles and the forests of mangroves.
Getting There & Away
Hat Nai Thon is accessible via Route 402 and Route 4031 from the airport and is one of the easiest beaches in Phuket to get to. Taxis make the journey from the airport in about 15 minutes. Phuket International Airport is about 45 minutes from Phuket Town by taxi and an hour or so by bus and has connections with Bangkok’s larger international airport.
