The main beach in Guihulngan is a bit shingly but is really wide and straight and is good for messing about on. Many resorts in Guihulngan offer dive courses and day dives, the best of which are 30 minutes north in Hilaitan sanctuary and Pescadore Island.

Back in Guihulngan the seaside promenade is one of the main focal points, with no motorized traffic and marvelous views out to sea. There are also several worthwhile landmarks in the town, including a huge bell.
