Located a short way east of the bridge on a slight rise, Fluid is well named, as it is all things to all people.

Its primary role is as a swimming pool—a great place to cool off in the hot weather. It’s a decent size at 25 meters and kept in good condition, providing a tempting alternative for those days you can’t be bothered to explore out-of-town locations.

But the best thing about Fluid is that it’s much more than a pool; there’s also a small gym with exercise machines, plus a decent restaurant and well-stocked bar, with cool sounds playing all day long. There’s also a herbal steam room, table tennis, books for browsing and internet access. Needless to say, it’s a neat place to meet other travelers and get ideas for where to go next.

Like many places in Pai, Fluid closes for a couple of months (August-September) when there are few visitors in town.

Either walk or ride a rented motorbike from the center of town east along Raddamrong Road, and its’s a short way beyond the bridge on the left.
