This rather palatial building that looks like a temple contains displays that recount the history of the Kuomintang in Thailand, from their arrival in 1949 when they fled the communist take-over in China until recent times.

This history consists largely of battles against communist forces in Thailand and Laos, and portrays the Kuomintang as being responsible for saving the Kingdom of Thailand from the scourge of communism. There’s also a memorial to over 750 Kuomintang soldiers who lost their lives in various battles.

The displays consist of information boards and some fuzzy photos, and the museum can only be recommended if you have a strong interest in the activities of the Chinese Nationalist (Kuomintang) Party.

It’s just a short walk from the center of town.
