Cabilao Island is a small island to the west of Bohol Island in the central Philippines that is known for its diving and snorkeling. It’s a quieter destination than other popular Philippines dive sites.
Cabilao is almost completely surrounded by good coral reef and there are numerous sites to dive and snorkel. Cabilao Island really is paradisiacal with as many gorgeous beaches as there are dive sites. Most of the resorts are on the west side of the island in the general region of the optimum beaches and diving.
One of the best things about a visit to Cabilao Island is the relative peace and quiet that is tough to find on other popular dive islands that surround Bohol. Many of the resorts abut the coast have gardens stretching all the way to the white sands. A boat trip around the island is a good way to take it all in and check out the rugged scenery.
