Binh Thuan, situated on the southeastern coast of Vietnam, is known for its gorgeous sceneries. The capital city of Binh Thuan province, Phan Thiet, is quite small but is bustling with various beaches, seafood eateries and an exciting riverside. The Phan Triet water tower is the iconic landmark of the city, and a large fish market can be found to the north of the southern-most bridge.
Another must-visit venue in Binh Thuan is Mui Ne, a touristy town with a wider choice of beaches and facilities. History buffs should check out Poshanu towers and Lau Ong Hoang, some of the most remarkable Cham masterpieces in the central region, about seven kilometers (four miles) from the capital city.
The province’s infrastructure is excellent, with many accommodations both in the provincial city and close to the beach. In addition, a number of restaurants are located close to the beachfront in Phan Thiet. Access is via bus from Ho Chi Minh Coty or Nha Trang.
