Situated in the southeastern part of Vietnam, Binh Duong is criss-crossed by three major rivers: Saigon, Đồng Nai, and Bé rivers. The province is known to be a major manufacturing industry, home to the likes of Nike, Adidas and H&M factories. Thu Dau Mot is the small provincial capital, about 20kms (12 miles) from Ho Chi Minh City, exuding a relaxing ambiance and an easy-going lifestyle.
Thu Dau Mot boasts several attractions including the Binh Duong Goddess temple, one of the most popular venues in the city, the Madame temple, a few pagodas and the Thu Dau Mot ancient house. Outside the city, visit Museum of Binh Duong and the renowned Bihn Duong water park reside.
The province’s infrastructure is quite good, with an array of restaurants and accommodations for tourists. In addition, there are many venues that will please shoppers including Porcelain Production Village. Access to the province is via Ho Chi Minh City to the south.
