Located in South Sulawesi, the small town of Bajoe is often bypassed by tourists who go in search of something more exciting. But those who take the time to stop here will find beautiful nature and friendly locals.

There is nothing particularly distinctive about the town, apart from the beautiful rugged landscape and plenty of opportunity to explore the imposing mountains or make your way to the beautiful coastline.

There is a small nomadic group of people known as the Bajo Sea people who call the small town home. They have a long and detailed history, dating back centuries to ancient times. Today, they generally keep themselves to themselves and keep their economy strong by providing valuable sea products to the Chinese.

The beautiful white sand beaches are a great place to relax and soak up the sun, while the mountainous inland provides shade, cooler weather and a range of outdoor sporting opportunities.
