Situated to the west of Guzhou Province, the city of Anshun is surrounded by a number of interesting tourist attractions, making it popular with visitors.
Anshun is a vibrant city which is simply packed with things to see and do. Lovers of good food will find plenty of restaurants here serving dishes prepared in a range of culinary styles. However, Anshun is best known for its natural beauty and most visitors use the city as a base to explore the nearby natural beauty spots.
Exploring the area around Anshun is easy as there is a special Huangguoshu Tourist Special Line bus that runs between Guiyang and Anshun. The city has a large bus station which is blessed with around 15 bus lines, carrying passengers all over the city and beyond.
Getting There & Away
Anshun Huangguoshu Airport is situated just six kilometers south of Anshun City, with regular buses connecting the airport and city centre (10 minutes). The airport receives flights from a number of cities such as Guangzhou (40 minutes), where there is an international airport. In addition to its bus station, Anshun also has a large train station and it is possible to catch the train to Anshun from cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
