Boat trips around the Sagay Marine Reserve are popular with tourists and there is plenty of natural beauty to soak up. This is a good place to swim, and it is possible to snorkel in the clear water and gaze at the abundant marine life.

The city of Sagay is just a 10-minute jeepney ride from the reserve, and there are plenty of good places to stay as well as restaurants and attractions such as parks, churches and museums.

Getting There & Away

Access is from Bacolod, where there is a large airport with regular flights from Manila (1 hour). There are also regular buses to Bacolod from towns and cities such as San Carlos (4 hours). Sagay Marine Reserve is just over 2 hours from Bacolod by bus or jeepney. Manila is host to the largest international airport in the Philippines.
