Pahang Travel Guide

The largest state of Peninsular Malaysia has many quality attractions to offer to travelers, thanks to its luxurious environment: green mountains, rainforests (with Taman Negara National Park hosting the peninsula’s highest point, Gunung Tahan), hill resorts (Fraser’s Hill), lakes (Tasik Bera), and caves.

Around the state capital, Kuantan, there are many amazing sandy beaches, including Teluk Chempedak. Other highlights include fishing villages and craftsmanship centers, with the silk and batik work in Pulau Keladi being notable.

Kuantan has its own airport and the province is easily accessed by road.
