Kota Biak Travel Guide
Located to the north of Cendrawasih Bay, Kota Biak is the main city in this region of Papua and a convenient place to stop for a day or two.
Kota Biak is served by Frans Kaisiepo Airport, which makes this a good city to use as a base if you are exploring Papua. Although there isn’t too much going on in the city, Kota Biak is surrounded by plenty of natural beauty to explore.
To the east of Kota Biak is the Padaido archipelago, which consists of around 30 islands of varying sizes. A great way to explore the area is by taking a boat trip.
