Dover Travel Guide

Situated about 90 miles either way between Philadelphia to the south and Washington, DC to the east and in a scenic location on the St Jones River, Dover is Delaware’s capital and its second largest city after Wilmington. It’s a highly developed city which continues to grow both economically and in terms of population.

With excellent employment opportunities and a high standard of living, Dover is an attractive city to make a home in. Major corporations such as Playtex, General Mills and Procter & Gamble have bases in Dover, encouraging investment in the city and drawing other manufacturers into the area also.
