Brunei is in Southeast Asia and lies along the northern coast of the island of Borneo, bordering the South China Sea and Malaysia. Brunei has a unique fusion of Islamic and Asian culture.

History: Formerly Brunei was very powerful and its borders stretched across much of the whole of Borneo, and even some southern parts of the Philippines.

People: The majority of Brunei’s population is Malay with a smaller percentage of Chinese which dominates the business scene. There is a small percent of the population made up of indigenous tribes such as Kedayan, Belait, Tutong, Bisya, Murut and Dusun.
